One of our care team members will reach out to you to provide the Meeting ID and Password for your visit.
Please prepare for your visit by finding a private, quiet, well-lit location to meet your care team.
After going through the Joining screens/pop-ups, you then will be placed in the waiting room of the provider you will be meeting with.
Once our staff admits you into the zoom meeting, you may need to select how to access audio for the meeting. It is recommended to use Internet audio or Device audio (this is a pop-up screen after you are admitted to the meeting from the waiting room
If you click “Dial-in” then zoom will prompt you to call into the visit instead of staying the zoom app. You will need to make additional selections to do so, the screenshots are from using the zoom app on a smartphone (again it is recommended to select the “Call using Internet Audio” if able to do so)
If you still are not heard by the CHP staff, you may need to allow zoom to access your microphone. This pop up may display for you after clicking ‘Join Audio’:
You will need to Navigate to your Settings >> Privacy >> Microphone and allow zoom to access the microphone:
If the above does not apply and you still cannot see or hear the provider you may have your audio or video turned off within the app.
To turn these on from your phone or tablet tap the screen to select the buttons at the bottom of the meeting (these should not be red or crossed out):
To turn on the camera or Join Audio on from a laptop or computer, hover over the meeting to see the bottom bar and click on the video camera to “Start Video” or “Join Audio”. When joining audio from your computer you will need to select either computer audio or use a separate phone in order to call into the meeting.
If your microphone is not functioning on your computer, you may see a warning. If you are not able to fix this, it is recommended to switch to Phone Call to access audio for the visit.
